What has been done to make this site usable by everyone, what has been measured, and what has not.
Israeli Standard IS 5568, which follows WCAG 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations.
Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and whatever is focused is visibly outlined. Every form field has a real label, not just a greyed-out hint inside the box, and errors are attached to the field they belong to so a screen reader announces them.
Headings run in order so a screen reader can skip through the page. Text and background colours were measured against the 4.5:1 the standard asks for, in both the light and dark themes. The site works in Hebrew, Arabic and English, right-to-left included, and animation is switched off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
This statement is based on our own testing. No external accessibility survey has been carried out and the site has not been tested with a screen reader by someone who uses one daily.
The photographs in the gallery carry their captions over an image, where colour contrast cannot be measured reliably. Everything the site says in words is available outside the gallery.
Tell us and it gets fixed. Ring Fade Room on 03-529 4417 and say what you were trying to do and what got in the way. That is more useful than a technical description, and it is the fastest way to have it put right.
